This award is to assist members who wish to participate in professional development activities related to institutional research and planning. The award is disbursed in the form of reimbursement of expenses in the current calendar year. Examples include regional or national training sessions, international events related to IR, AIR (Association for Institutional Research) sponsored training such as the Summer Institute, SCUP (Society for College and University Planning) conferences, etc.
